The Arizona SciTech Festival is a state-wide celebration of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM or STEAM when you include the arts) held annually in February and March. In short, the philosophy behind the SciTech Festival is much like that of the Canne Film Festival. Science festivals do for science what film festivals do for films.
As a supporter of the community, MJS Designs participates in several SciTech events each year.

MJS Designs has participated in the AZ SciTech Festival since its inception in 2012 and 2015 marks their second year as a sponsor. You can find MJS Designs at many events that partner and collaborate with the SciTech Festival, such as the Southwest Makers Fest on March 28, 2015 in down town Mesa, AZ or the FIRST Robotics Competition where, MJS Designs is sponsoring Team Caution 1492 as they attempt to dominate the competitive world of youth robotics.
“While there are many worthwhile community programs in our state, few offer such an intense focus on technology and engineering. These are the subjects of our business and have captivated the minds of our team.” – Visser went on to say.
One of the strengths of the Arizona SciTech Festival is its reach into the community. It’s not limited to science or math students or limited to a single fair on a single weekend. The SciTech Festival is open to everyone and with a packed schedule in February and March and with sub events happening all year long. Truly, there is something for everyone in all corners of the state.
