Learn how the design for manufacturing CAD Specialist, Paul Phasouk, is an integral part of the MJS Designs team
As a design for manufacturing (DFM) CAD Specialist, Paul Phasouk is an essential part of MJS Designs. As part of the design team, he works in tandem with his teammates to provide accurate and on time DFM reports for successful PCB assemblies that reach all segments of the electronics industry.
His duties include creating electronic part models per the customer and manufacturer specifications in order to run a Valor Analysis Check to verify the CAD footprints are accurate, performing checks to identify potential DFM manufacturing issues before a design is released into production, to avoid low yields or field failures due to design issues, and identifying where a PCB design might exceed a fabricated board supplier’s manufacturing capabilities.
Paul also supports production and fabrication teams, working to perform the thousands of critical checks necessary for a project’s electronic components to ensure the parts can be assembled correctly. Additionally, he generates program files for the MJS Designs test team in order to provide fully tested assemblies for our customers utilizing a flying probe tester. The DFM CAD Specialist provides professional PCB design services to all segments of the electronics industry.
